I was friends with Carrie for so many years. We did Girl Scouts, Judo, and just about everything together when we were still in the single digit years. It saddened me to hear that she passed. I am so thankful to have so many memories of her, as I am sure that many of our classmates do. She will always have a special place in my heart.

Carrie and I were friends since pre-school. She was a warm, sweet, funny, easy going person that I loved hanging out with. I have great memories of hanging out in her house, swimming in her pool, and making her cat play guitar (it was funny to 8 year olds).

One memory that stands out from high school is from prom our senior year. Carrie and I ended up wearing the same dress because I had planned on only going to the Lakeland prom but at the last minute decided to go to the Milford prom as well. So the dress shop sold us the same dress thinking we wouldn't be attending the same prom. I felt so bad that I did that to her but she thought it was hilarious. I'm pretty sure I still have the picture of her and I laughing together on the dance floor.

Carrie and I had several classes throughout our high school years and had a few "common" friends. I always remember her smiling and willing to help out when I just couldn't grasp some accounting concepts- she had patience and an uncanning ability to even get this blonde chick to understand what I needed to do.

Her smile will forever be the one thing I will always remember about her...my heart goes out to her child and husband.

Carrie was such a wonderful person. Im sorry that we had lost touch after high school. What a tragedy that she passed so young.
