Melissa Walton Merkler

After graduating from MSU, I moved to North Carolina with a friend. Eventually took a job with Marriott Corporation, and worked as a dietitian. After a few years, I decicded to go back to school and moved back to MI. Attended Wayne State University for Nursing. I met my husband there and signed a contract with Detroit Receiving Hospital. I have been working for Detroit Receiving for about 9 years in the emergency department. It is busy, chaotic and sometimes a little crazy. It is a great job (most of the time) and I really like what I do. I have 3 children 13 yrs, 12 yrs, and 7 yrs.
